Taxco de Alarcon
Taxco is located in the southern state of Guerrero, one and a half hours from Mexico city. This city is famous because of its church: Santa Prisca and because of the commerce of silver.

This city used to be one of the most important silver mines in New Spain, as Mexico was known before its Independence. Mining cities like Taxco flourished and attracted a lot of Spaniards who used native work to build beautiful cities.
