Cathedral
Puebla de los Angeles was thought to be the capital of the New Spain, as Mexico was known in colonial times. It was a city designed for and by the Spaniards. According to the legend, this Cathedral was supposed to be the most important of the Northern Hemisphere. Other beautiful churches located in this city are: Capilla del Rosario, Iglesia de Santa Cruz, Templo de Compania de Jesus, and Templo de San Francisco (read more at La ciudad de puebla.com).
Loreto and Guadalupe Fort
An emblematic site in this city is the Loreto and Guadalupe Fort where Mexican troops defeated the French army in the famous battle of May 5,1862.
